Board Program Introduction-workshop

The workshop is the first in a series of interactive speaker events where Students will learn about what a board does and obtain core competencies necessary for board members. The students will be introduced to corporate governance and what value they can provide, through interactive sessions with speakers from CBS and private companies.

There will be two presentations in which the students will learn and afterwards a workshop with case based group work, where the students will put their newly acquired skills to used. Between the presentations, dinner will be served, and the event concludes with a networking arrangement, to facilitate a social aspect and the initiation of a "student community" fostering a network in which the students can contact each other and be recruited for board positions.
